Tribute to Moses

Today was a sad day in the history of Barefeet. One of our facilitators, Moses, died suddenly on Sunday and was buried today. Moses was part of Africa Dance Factory and, apart from Barefeet, has had a long and colourful career in the arts in Zambia. Testimony to this was the huge turnout at Lusaka Playhouse to pay their respects. Mosten and Tobias paid tribute to Moses in their moving poems and spoken word performances.

With Barefeet Moses had been critical in teaching hundreds of children his unique performance style, notably with his expertise in acrobatics. Moses you will be sorely missed and never forgotton.

There will always be a space at the Barefeet meetings.

All the Barefeet team!
