It’s getting closer….

dscf69271.jpg There is snow in the air of Lusaka. Edward Scissorhands: The Story of Snow is moving with leaps and bounds! Here are a few rehearsal snaps to wet your appetite. We are also looking forward to working with Kulture Consult to welcome the world renowned Tumbuka Dancers from Zimbabwe. The most amazing week of activities Lusaka has ever seen! Lucky you if you live in Zambia, and if you don’t… don’t be greedy (Europe had the Barefeet guys for six weeks in the summer)                                           dscf6947.jpgThings are moving! Come and celebrate the festive season with the Barefeet posse! We are trying to get sponsorship so that all our 1,500 children form the streets and from the centres can join in the Christmas magic. Internationally applauded dance company with a uniquely Zimbabwean artistic voice, Tumbuka are a visual spectacle. The team have toured extensively internationaly but it’s their first time in Zambia. Let’s give them a proper welome!

12th & 13th December
Edward Scissorhands: The Story of Snow.
Barefeet bring to life this Christmas masterpiece.
This magical tale is specially adapted for the stage using dance, song, theatre, puppetry, illusion and lots and lots of snow.

(warning: this show is very very very very funny!)

(Children’s Matinee performances 8th-12th December at 10hours and 1330)
