Goodbye to the old and a hearty hello to the new
A number of the centres Barefeet works in have undergone some changes in recent months. Here’s the low down on what’s been happening
Hope Foundation, formerly a home for girls who had been living on the streets, has closed its doors but the hard working team have remodelled themselves into a new initiative known as Girls Together.
Headed up by Chitalu Lizzy the Girls Together team welcome girls and young women from the street to their new drop-in centre every week.
The initiative is based in Scout Hall where Barefeet also has its office and here the girls can access vital health, nutritional, educational and support facilities. Barefeet are delighted to be supporting this project.
