CHRISTMAS MAGIC: THE STORY OF SNOW!
Edward Scissorhands: The Story of Snow rocked Lusaka Playhouse for the whole week. The play was performed 12 times to over 2,000 children and hundreds of Lusaka Citizens. Despite power failures and unrelaible technical equipment the team dazzled, the cast shone and the crowds were wooed (we even got two standing ovations for our public performances).
We are indebted to Creative Kids International (Sian and Mia) who made the Christmas show have all the magic you can see in the photographs. It’s been an amazing collaboration…. feast your eyes on the results…..

To see why Barefeet are the most dynamic theatre makers in Zambia take a look at these pictures:

What a way to finish off a great year, entertaining Zambia’s most vulnerable children (who just happened to be some of the best educated theatre goers in Zambia). Again Barefeet made the impossible possible, making it snowin Africa for all the children in attendance.

See what happened when Father Christmas popped in to see what the children thought of the festivities.

What a theatrical feast for the eyes! If only I’d have had the privilage to have saturated all my senses. Congratulations to Adam, his (obviously very talented) technical team and the amazing actors who made the story live and breathe.
That’s the sort of work I wanna be doing!
Merry Christmas and peace, happiness and success to all at Barefoot.
Much love
