This year’s Arts Festival is almost upon us. With not a minute to spare the team are racing round making the ‘final’ preparations. Once again we are working with Creative Kids International (CKI) to create a massive spectacle and leave our footprint deep in the cultural scene in Lusaka. CKI have been as fantastic as ever and we are in awe of their energy, their passion and their creative mastery of all things carnival. This year we are delighted to be teaming up with UNICEF to let the festival grow into an annual youth arts festival that will rival any on the planet. Speaking of planets, this year’s festival is themed around ‘Me and My World’, the environmental module we have been teaching the children.

Barefeet are also delighted to be helping UNICEF with the first ever Zambia Children’s Climate Conference. The week is so packed with activities that you’d be forgiven for thinking that the world cup had come early. Don’t fret you can still attend all events… if you have the stamina…..

An exciting addition to this year’s festival will see us welcoming over 100 participants from our groups in Kitwe, Ndola, Livingstone and Kabwe. Welcome guys! Enjoy!Check out the programme below!
